Usually
it's other people who describe an artist, in my case I prefer doing it on
my own, maybe because I think I know myself better than anyone else. I was
born in Milan in P.ta Vittoria, in the Meneghina area, which is still full
of memories for me. I've loved pencils, paints and watercolours since I
was a child. Any white surface was good enough to be scribbled all over.
Then, without renouncing pencils and paints, my path took another direction,
so now I'm a journalist. But near the end of the eighties, my desire to
fill paper and everything else with colours and pictures was renewed. So
I began to restudy watercolours again, because in my opinion you can never
learn enough of this technique. First I started attending naturalistic watercolour
courses, then, in different periods, under the guidance of such skilled
teachers as Aurelio Pedrazzini and Franco Spazzi. If what I've written here has made
you curious, turn the page and take a look at my works. |
